One of the most compelling reasons to consider the use of Revolution as your next building is the very short lead times required to have the structure ready for its intended use. ROI begins long before it would using a conventional building. Lead time for an average sized building (8,000 s.f.) to be ready for its internal fit out is about 3 months from the date of order.
Revolution is designed to be assembled and erected from the ground up, at waste high elevation (no risk of workers falling from the roof). The tri-dimensional aluminum roof framing system is assembled first, using our internationally patented “butterfly” connection system. Next, the high tensile strength exterior roof membranes and interior insulating fabric ceiling panels are pulled into their positions in the frame through internal channels and they are tensioned. All the perimeter columns are then connected at their respective locations on the eave of the frame, lying in a horizontal position. Once all this ground work is accomplished, cranes lift the entire roof section, the pinned columns swing to vertical position and then the columns are connected to their respective base plates that are mounted on concrete footers. Wall section cross bracing is attached and tensioned, and the building is then ready for exterior wall cladding, door and flooring installation.
An average sized building of 8,000 square feet will take only two to three weeks to erect and be ready for internal fit out of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, dry wall, etc. |
